Thoughts

Peaceful in the night
So far away
Stars glistening on my skin
Often where I drift away
Your still on my mind
Haunting my thoughts
while I long to feel your
arms holding me
Wishing to wake to find you here
But I am alone
Lying here with only thoughts of you
Smelling you on me
Tasting your lips on mine
Holding on to what I need to let go
Why am I here alone
You must have been mine
somewhere in time
I wish upon the stars
in hopes someday
we will be
together we are
only in a dream....
