So long I have been so numb,
Laying, stuck in a dream
as time keeps going
wishing for it to stop but I keep breathing
so many ways I think of
so that I may not wake up
when did I drift to this place
where I not know of hope
waiting for life to seep through and carry me away
wanting everything to stop
I'm suffocating, and so cold
nothing here just a soul drifting away
waiting for you to come to me
then I can open my eyes again
